The Enterprise Architect is responsible for shaping and sustaining the enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and SAFe principles. This pivotal role encompasses strategic planning, architecture governance, solution design, and providing technical leadership. The Enterprise Architect collaborates with cross-functional teams, release trains, program and service architects, and business architects. Additionally, the role involves mitigating risks, driving continuous improvement, and facilitating change management initiatives. By providing comprehensive guidance, documentation, and communication on architectural matters, the Enterprise Architect ensures the organization can adapt to evolving technological landscapes and efficiently deliver value-added solutions.

Strategic Planning: Craft and sustain the enterprise architecture strategy in alignment with the organization's business goals. Work closely with stakeholders to comprehend long-term objectives and convert them into actionable architectural plans.

Architecture Governance: Establish and uphold architectural standards, policies, and procedures across the SAFe Agile Release Train (ART). Ensure adherence to industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and architectural principles.

Solution Design: Offer architectural guidance and support to Program Architects and Service Architects within the ART. Collaborate with product managers, scrum masters, and development teams to design scalable and resilient solutions that address business needs.

Technical Leadership: Act as a technical leader and subject matter expert on enterprise architecture principles, methodologies, and emerging technologies. Mentor junior architects and provide guidance on architectural design patterns and best practices.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within the architecture and design solutions to mitigate them. Conduct risk assessments and recommend strategies to ensure system security, reliability, and integrity.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders from various departments, including business units, IT operations, security, and compliance, to understand their requirements and integrate them into the architectural design.

Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and performance of the enterprise architecture.

Change Management: Facilitate the adoption of architectural changes within the organization by effectively communicating the rationale, benefits, and impacts of these changes to stakeholders at all levels.

Documentation and Communication: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the enterprise architecture, including diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Enterprise architect.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in English 

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Enterprise Architecture Frameworks.
  • Expertise in Cloud Architecture.
  • Knowledge of Microservices Architecture.
  • Familiarity with DevOps Practices.
  • Experience in Application Integration.
  • Strong understanding of Data Architecture.
  • Knowledge of Security Architecture & Compliance.
  • Awareness of Emerging Technologies.
  • Experience with tooling for enterprise architecture.
  • Proven experience working in agile environments using Scrum & SAFe.
