They are looking to hire a Senior Backend Engineer who will utilise their expertise to shape the capabilities of their product.
What You’ll be Doing
• Use your DevOps mindset and knowledge in your work
• Lead teams and then later provide mentoring/training to other engineers
• Comfortable working in a pair programming environment
• Good experience off working with object-oriented or functional programming
• Ensure APIs are built exactly as per the desired standards
• Learning new technologies and shuffling between different tech stacks
• Well-versed with unit testing
• Enhancing the CI
What You’ll Bring in This Role
• Substantial development experience for agile practices
• Good backend experience in Python/Golang, and some knowledge of C#, Ruby/NodeJS and Elixir
• Solid experience working within a DevOps culture
• Know-how of technologies and platforms such as REST-ful APIs, ReactJS, Scrum/Kanban, AWS, postGRASS, RabbitMQ
• Fluency in English – both written and spoken
• Experience of building ecommerce system and test driven development and past contributions to open source projects will be advantageous
