What You’ll be Doing
• Ensure consistency and high quality in solutions and mentor a variety of quality initiatives
• Share knowledge with other members of organization
• Be an external point of contact and offer guidance on operations, architecture and security problems
• Stay up to date with upcoming industry standards in code build, architecture, security, delivery, operational monitoring etc.
• Help your fellow engineers develop a skill set in your domain
• Design and develop fundamental cross-cutting services
• Always look to bring about a change by discovering solutions to enhance security and scalability by overcoming challenges associated with system architecture that come about due to the growth of customer base and engineering department
• Design, identify and implement consistent improvements to company’s development, deployment and testing solutions
What You’ll Bring in This Role
• Over 4 years of experience in engineering position and exposure to fields such as security, DevOps, programming languages and solution design
• Value different point of views of your fellow engineers and also communicate and collaborate with them on a regular basis
• Encourage diversity of thought and showcase your experience of CI/CD solutions
• Expertise in IaC (Infrastructure as Code), cloud providers and also service-based architectures
• Expertise in Docker to communicate software services for the production environment as well as containerization tools
• Good comprehension of trends in operational architecture
• Understanding of event-streaming, server less and a variety of monitoring practices
• Know-how of different industry coding practices
These skills will be considered advantageous:
• Know-how of MongoDB, node.js, SQL database and Spring
• Know-how of contemporary front-end test, build and deployment tools
• Know-how of AWS services and deployments
