Do you have a love for metrics and statistics? If yes, then you have an opportunity to work with this company as a manager/cloud site reliability engineer.

You will develop, review and update polices to ensure consistency of the platform. You will have excellent communication skills and a flair for product management. As a manager, you will mentor and guide team members.

What You’ll be Doing

• Discover new opportunities to ensure operational improvements
• Be an escalation point for both intricate technical troubleshooting and customer experience
• Develop, update and review policies and technical controls on a regular basis to ensure consistency
• Lead the transformation of Cloud SRE product operations team
• Serve as a mentor and guide to members of the Cloud SRE product operations
• Put forward KPIs and performance metrics in front of Cloud leadership and other main business stakeholders
• Collaborate with other SRE teams
• Ensure continuous improvement of monitoring, application logging, alerting, and resilience
• Be a partner to product management, engineering, cloud delivery and Project Management Office (PMO)

What You’ll Bring in This Role
• More than 5 years of experience in managing enterprise cloud infrastructure such as Azure and AWS by using automation, configuration management and CI/CD solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other equivalent degree. Master’s degree will be preferred
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in systems engineering, software development or database administration
• More than 3 years of experience in leading a team of system engineers, database admins or software developers
• More than 3 years of experience in building DevOps solutions and cloud architectures
• Extensive experience of managing applications that are based on different commonly used technology stacks
• Well-versed with automated continuous integration and builds that utilize Git, Jenkins, Terraform or other contemporary tools
• Long-term experience of using monitoring tools such as Nagios, CloudWatch, Azure Analytics, AppDynamics, Splunk, PRTG, SolarWinds DPA, and/or PagerDuty
• Interest in statistics and metrics
• Excellent communication skills
