In your job role, you will develop the entire product roadmap and offer technical guidance to the team members. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high level of performance of every team member.
What You’ll be Doing
• Manage 4-8 software engineers
• Offer soft skill coaching and technical guidance to members of the team
• Offer guidance to the team and help the adopt and build engineering processes
• Support the efforts to enhance scalability, stability and efficiency
• Ensure collaboration and also do mob-programming
• Ensure ongoing education of team members to enhance their knowledge
• Sometimes pitch in and support the delivery of the code
What You’ll Bring in This Role
• At least 1 year of experience leading a DevOps engineering team
• Expertise in providing feedback to the engineers
• Bring your pragmatism into the role
• Be hands-on in your approach as a technical manager
• Work along the lines of DevOps and agile methodologies
• Be a responsible person with a spirit of self-management
• Experience in distributed technologies and work on open source projects will be advantageous
• Expertise in API development will be preferred
