Position: DevOps Architect / DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Architect or DevOps Engineer to join our team, focusing on supporting the migration of an on-premise and Azure DevOps environment to GitHub. This role involves collaborating with various software teams to facilitate their transition to GitHub, assisting in the setup of workflows, composite actions, and branching strategies, depending on the team’s needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide and support software teams in their move to GitHub, tailoring assistance based on team maturity and preferences.
• Help design and implement GitHub workflows, with optional involvement in Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Jenkins.
• Provide input on the integration of on-premise products such as Nexus and Sonar into CI/CD pipelines, while remaining flexible and motivated to learn new tools as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers and architects to ensure smooth transitions and optimal use of GitHub’s features.
Requirements:
• Experience as a DevOps Architect or Engineer, preferably with GitHub workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Jenkins is a plus but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of on-premise systems such as Nexus or Sonar is advantageous but not required; a strong willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
This is a hybrid role requiring at least 2 days of onsite work per week, with the option for remote work based on availability. Proficiency in both Dutch and English is necessary.
