Job Overview:
As a GCP Technical Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role as a subject matter expert, driving innovative solutions on the Google Cloud Platform. You’ll guide project outcomes, ensuring the successful delivery of key objectives while taking ownership of the technical direction.
You’ll leverage your architectural expertise, confidently leading high-level discussions and strategy. With a solid background in DevOps, you’ll oversee processes across one or more teams, establishing solid principles and implementing best practices.
You’ll also engage regularly with clients, serving as a key point of contact and fostering collaboration. Coaching and mentoring the team will be a core part of your responsibilities, helping drive success across the board.
Required Skills & Experience:
To excel in this role, you’ll need a strong knowledge of the following, with deep expertise in one or more categories:
- Serverless: Cloud Run, Cloud Functions
- Kubernetes Engine, Compute Engine
- VPC Networks and Service Perimeters
- Data Solutions: BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, Firestore
- API Management: Apigee, Cloud Endpoints
- Data Analytics Services: Dataproc, Dataflow, Data Fusion, Cloud Composer
- Security: Cloud IAM, PAM, VPC Service Controls, Security Command Center
Key Architectural Principles:
- Microservices architecture
- Event-driven systems and messaging queues
- Relational and NoSQL databases
- Development and scripting skills (Python, Node, Bash)
- Security best practices (Access Control, Data Protection, Communication Security)
