Job Title: Director of Technical Operations

Salary: Up to £150,000 per annum + 7-10% bonus
About Us:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Technical Operations to lead and streamline our technical teams, including Platform, Build & Release (DevOps), IT, Support, Network, and Security teams. Our company is currently undergoing a transformation to adopt a more modern DevOps approach, and we are seeking a visionary leader to drive this change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and align our technical teams, ensuring efficient collaboration and unified efforts.
- Oversee the IT team, with the potential to lead its transformation as a separate unit.
- Collaborate closely with engineering leaders within the development department.
- Champion and drive best practices across all technical operations.
- Encourage and empower autonomous decision-making within the teams.
- Foster the adoption of our state-of-the-art platform within the organisation.
Key Achievements so far:
- Successfully increased platform happiness from 44% in April to an impressive 73% in September according to recent surveys.
The ideal person for this position will have:
- Strong experience in DevOps and DevX.
- A technical background with expertise in leading transformation initiatives.
Interview Process:
- Initial 45-minute interview with the VP.
- Second-stage interview with two peers.
- Final interview with the individual who will be reporting to in this role.
