The Challenge

To help drive digital transformation, our client helps organisations across many industries transform their businesses with effective HRM solutions, with a particular focus on Workday solutions.

Throughout 2016, their goal is to continue to build their world class Human Resource Management Consulting team who advise clients on a range of strategic HR issues, including HR technology and HR SaaS.


The Solution

Third Republic was engaged as a Strategic Recruitment Partner as part of a recruitment drive to hire highly motivated professionals who have a flare for HR Transformation with specific subject matter expertise in Workday.

This is a fast growing part of their business, operating in a talent pool that is very limited given the size of the current skills base around the UK and around the world.

The size of the talent pool is extremely small with many professionals being courted by competitors. 


Third Republic's methodology included a number of phases:
  • Scoping stage and agreeing the specific profiles to be hired with the client.
  • Mapping out the competitive landscape.
  • Building a talent pool of prospects that corresponded to each domain area of expertise: data, integrations, functional, financials.
  • Devising an effective engagement strategy via networking forums, meet up groups, social media and other means, to generate real interest in their proposition.
  • Acting as an extension to the Internal Recruitment team to help manage the process more effectively.

The Results

Within two months of being engaged, Third Republic successfully hired a number of talented Workday Experts including Workday Financial Consultants, an Integration Manager, a Senior Manager, Senior Workday Consultants and a Partner for driving growth in Central Europe.
